Now, I had this all typed out, and when I hit publish it errored and I lost it all. So just know this is the 2nd time I am writing all of this.

Meeting with karen on the 13th was pretty good, but tough. We started filling her in on Al's new job and the new salary. Should be helpful in the grand picture. And then seh asked difficult parenting questions. Like how we would handle specific situations when our child is 10. Impossible to answer really because who knows. What is my personality like, what is the childs like, what kind of relationship do we have etc. Just silly questions if you ask me. But its all part of the process.

Sept 7-8 we are going away overnight to an open adoption seminar. It is being put on by the agency we are likely to sign with. From what I have heard, it is a great course, and well worth taking.

We are very busy putting the finishing touches on the house so we can list. We are aiming to be listed the week of labour day. Which is so soon. And Al is away from the 26-30th for work in Vancouver. Part of the new job is last mintue travel... just comes at a bad time really.

Al finally got a Dr. to take care of his medical portion of the home study. And he is getting fingerprinted tonight. We see Karen again Sept 17th and hopefully by then everything is in to her and she has all she needs. Cross your fingers for us.
