Already at meeting #4

So Karen has been here two more times since that first visit. Mostly the questions have been getting to know who we are. Learning about obstacles in our past etc. And for the most part the questions have been fairly easy. But she is coming Monday night again, and has warned us that this week she will be asking us to heavily critique our parents parenting styles and we will be asked nasty questions about our thoughts, values etc on parent and discipline techniques. Ugh. Thats the hard shit that no one knows the answer to until you are put in a situation to have to deal with it. So ya, its gonna be a challenging one. And we have to discuss it a bit before hand I think so we have our ducks in a row.

We are scheduled for an adoption training weekend Sept 7-8. They are not mandatory as part of the homestudy, but they are mandatory as part of the agency guidelines. And without an agency, we won't find our baby (unless there is someone who knows someone who wants us to raise their baby for them).
