Thanks Meg & Sam for your wonderful posts. Your support means the world... and thanks for the laughs too.
So here is the update:
I emailed her after a short cry last night. Can't remember if I posted here before or after I did that. She called us later in the evening. She apologized for having left a message, but didn't back down on her stand at all. She simply feels that no one will choose us because of my weight. What a bunch of crap. I ended up hanging up on her after talking for maybe 5 mintues or so.
I then left a message for another SW that I had spoke with a month or so back. I didn't love her instantly back then, and was "shopping" for the right fit. Anyhow, she called me back last night as well. Of course I was super sensitive regarding the whole thing, so I wanted to be upfront with her. She is willing to work with us, dispite my weight. She is also cheaper, and has a bit shorter process than Terri. Those are all pluses. She also suggested I speak to the ministry to tell them what happened to me.
So... today I talked to an absolutely wonderful lady from the Ministry of children and youth services of ontario. She did HS for 15 years before moving to work for the government. She will be speaking to Terri regarding her poor judgement. There is no legislation that says if they have to accept to work with someone. However her tact was in the shitter, so for that she will get spoken to by the Ministry. I will follow up with the Ministry lady next tuesday, as agreed, to follow up on their conversation.
But.... now we are seriously thinking our options over. Adoption is still it for us, but the ministry lady was super helpful in making me understand the system better. In ontario last year there were only 145 infants adopted through the private system. However, in the public system there are over 6000 children (half under 4) who are looking for a home in our province. So we have some serious thinking to do. Add to the mix the information from Tori & Elena (my ya-ya sisters in the states who both very recently have adopted) about possibly adopting an American newborn, I am on information overload.

Gotta say that it gives me hope that there are people with tact and empathy working with people who want to adopt.
Hang in. Process the info.
Love,
Sam
